Gearbox has implemented Crystal Intelligence for compliance screening of wallets used within the interface.
When connecting a wallet for the first time or attempting a deposit, Gearbox conducts a compliance screening process through Crystal Intelligence to maintain a safe and lawful use of the interface. This ensures adherence to international Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorism Financing (CTF) regulations as well as compliance with global crypto regulatory requirements.
Crystal Intelligence utilizes on-chain data to detect and report risks, including sanctions violations, terrorism financing, hacked or stolen funds, ransomware, human trafficking, child sexual abuse material, fraudulent transactions, theft, and associations with sanctioned entities or blacklisted organisations. Additionally, extensive use of unlicensed exchanges, peer-to-peer (P2P) platforms, and certain decentralised applications (dApps) may also result in the system assigning a high-risk score to your wallet.
If we receive a risk warning regarding your wallet, your access to the web interface will be automatically blocked. This action helps protect the Gearbox community and complies with regulatory requirements. Please note that the outcome of this screening is final. We do not carry out manual evaluations, and there is no process for appeals or individual case consideration. This restriction applies to your use of the web application.
We ensure user privacy and do not collect or share additional personal data beyond what is necessary for compliance screening.
